Isi artikel
The Royal Danish School of Librarianship was established in 1956. In 1973 a branch campus of the library school was established in Aalborg. A descriptive and critical account of education for librarianship in Denmark isgiven. The final report of the Library Commission and the complete revision of the 1964 Public Library Law, both due to be tabled in Parliament in 1980, or later, may have implications for the future pattern of library education in Denmark. The author gratefully acknowledges the assistance of Mr Viggo Bredsdorff, The Acting Rector, Mr Leif Kajberg, Head of Research and Publications, and Mr Poul Steen Larsen, Head of Department, all from the Royal Danish School of Librarianship, who read the manuscript and made valuable comments. The opinions expressed in the article are, however, entirely the author’s.
