Their saying is : “Good Enough” is the enemy of “Best,” and “Best” is the enemy of “Better.” In other words, benchmarking can alert organizations that their years of being the best are now history. This can be a company - saving warning because organizations that grow complacent about their past successes don't aggressively pursue improvement.
