A case of epidermolytic hyperkeratosis (EHK) in a - 16 year old of javanese boy was reported. Red patches and blister on groin and axillae occurred since has was 4 weeks old when he was 4 months of age, he had fine scale with predilection distribution on neck, trunk, arms, legs, and bidy fold. Two years later the lesionbecome thick, more prominent and appeared verucous, palms and soles also affected. Phsical examination revealed thickned red hyperkeratotic corrugated plagues. The histopathology revealed achantosis, hyperkeratosis, vacuolar degenaration on epedermis. On granular layer occurred, in either keratin1 or keratin 10. based on typical history, clinicalappearance, and histopathology the diagnosis was established. the patient was treated with acitretin
