This bibliography of birth control in China covers sociological and medical literature, including books, chapters of books, conference papers, and journal articles, augmented by a small number of important titles from Chinese sources, mostly newspaper articles. It contains two sections: the People's Republic of China and Taiwan. Subject categories under the People's Republic of China include general aspects, population policy, programmes and services, and newspaper articles. Subjects treated under Taiwan include: general aspects, programmes and services, contraceptive methods (intrauterine contraceptive devices, systemic contraception, abortion, vaginal contraceptives), and newspaper articles. The body of the bibliography is arranged alphabetically by single or senior author and date of publication. Journal articles are identified by volume number, pagination, and date of issue.
