| This is a guide prepared on the basis of consultations with many nursing authorities to suggest a method of approach to planning basic nursing education programmes at local, state, or national levels, and intended to be of particular use in countries where nursing education programmes are developing. It comprises a part devoted to an extremely detailed questionnaire for use in preliminary fact-finding, and a part discussing the factors involved in planning a basic school of nursing.
