| Countries should adopt an ecological approach toward their health services. Education and training should be adapted to local circumstances, as part of each national health plan. This pattern is difficult to carry out in countries undergoing rapid socioeconomic changes. Although training and education of personnel occurs mostly in isolation from the institutions that absorb these personnel, traditional schools of medicine and allied health services are gradually trying to cooperate. |
