| This bibliography, a product of the National Library of Medicine's computer-based retrieval system (MEDLARS), cites selected articles from 2 200 biomedical journals. Each monthly issue includes references cited in the monthly Index Medicus for the corresponding month. Citations are arranged under subject headings, which appear in alphabetical order. These subject headings are index terms selected from Medical Subject Headings (MESH). In the subject section, subject headings such as the following are included: Air Pollution, Childcare, Community Health Services, Comprehensive Health Planning. Delivery of Health Care, Environmental Health, Family Planning, Infant Mortality, Nutrition, etc. In the author section, senior authors' names receive full citations whereas second and third authors' names are cross-referenced.
