The aim of this study is to investigate the sea transportation moda in Bontang East of Kalimantan, as a base on Bontang as Buffer Zone from Kutai Timur Regional. Indicators and variables of research are calculated using the Analitical Hirrarchie Process approach. The value of the indicator Public service and Capacity transportation moda is not significant. There are eighteen values aspects 1.812 and 0.741. The strategic analysis is kept with structural, temporal, and spacial for development of the transportation moda in Bontang area.
