Isi artikelIn this paper, the design of fuzzy controllers using the Space Filling Curves (SFC) is discussed. It is shown that the choice of the path of the SFC to fill the space using the SFC affects the control performance for both upward and downward set-point changes, and that steady-state errors may arise from the discrete nature of the controller. A new H-SFC and a Zooming Algorithm are proposed to ensure the control performance is symmetrical for both the upward and downward set-point changes, and to minimize the steady-state errors with minimal additional computation. The proposed controller is illustrated by a simulation example involving a DC servomotor.
