All most of fertilizer products must had water content about 1% until 5%, this facts off course become a trouble for middle scale fertilizer industries. On the basis thta facts in the year 2004 The Industrial Research and Standardization Body had finished the invention of simple water testing equipment for fertilizer products. By using the principle of measurement or capacitance of condensator as principle of water measurement. As an input unit we used the pile of two copper plate concentric in the pressing unit. The signal manipulation used included sinusoidal signal generator by used IC 7413 and IC 74121 as the astabile multivibrator and as the output unit we used Liquid Crystal Display IC 7061. The value of capacitance of sample be convers to water content value. Functional and performance testing give a good result. The specification of the prototype is: Work principle: Measurement of capacitance Weight of sample: 10-20 grams Time of testing: 5 menit/test Range of testing: 0%-5% Power 2x9 Volt Dimension: 30 cm x 40 cm x 10 cm
