As mentioned by General Election Commission (KPU), national electin for legislative a d executive (president and its vice-president) will be held next year (April 9, 2009). Different from previous election (2004), the number of participants in next election (2009) is increasing. There are 34 political parties participating in this process, and its campaign phase has started since July 12, 2008.
