This article is based on a research conducted to evaluate the influence of implementing posing problem in learning arithmatics operation. A qualitative method was used in the research to gain insight to what happen to the students during the implementation of posing problem. Data collected by instruments and interviews was analyzed during and after data collection using logical analysis. The research results show that fourth grade students did not have any idea about problem posing. However, some students showed good results in the learning of fraction arithmetic operation. The results also reflected good understanding of the students according to various language structures and number of semantic relation.
