Isi artikelThis article is based on a research aiming to find appropriate learning model concept to increase rational thinking skill of the third year students. The research experimented learning Children Learning in Science (CLIS) in teaching natural science as a process. CLIS model is based on contructive views based on student, with hand-on/mind-on activities and uses five steps (orientation, exposing view, reconstructive view, implementing view and revaluating the changes of suggestion). The test of learning output processed statistictally using t-test, while interview was analyzed descriptively. The result that shows increasing in students skills.
