The purpose of this article is to evaluate the effectiveness of Teachers Activity Centre (PKG) in increasing professional competence as well as its application in learning and teaching process. A number of 60 teachers of elementary school engaged in PKG activities were selected as sample. One third of the samples were from urban area, another third from a semi urban area, and the last third were from a rural area. Questionnaires and observation were used to collect data which were then analyzed using categories and percentage. The results of this research show that PKG was highly effective in increase teachers professional competence as well as its applications.
