Isi artikelCoffee is considered as the most commonly used psychoactive drug in the world. It contains caffeine and several compounds which acts as a stimulant for peristalsis and is sometimes considered to prevent constipation. It is also a diuretic. It is known as to affect human body chemistry. The coffee bean itself contains chemical which are psychotropic for humans as a by-product of their defense mechanism. This article will discuss the health benefits and consequences of caffeine. It is found that drink more coffee will significantly lee likely to develop Alzheimer's disease later in life. The tannins in coffee may reduce the cariogenic potential of foods. Effects of coffee are related to its caffeine content is a nervous condition that occurs when one has had too much caffeine. It cal also cause anxiety and irritability, insomnia, dehydration, raise LDL cholesterol levels, high blood pressure. Cafestol, a substance which present in boiled coffee drinks, dramaticaly increases cholesterol levels, especially in women.
