Mindi (Melia azedarach L.) is known as one of the potential herbs, which is used for traditional medicine. Their trunk and root membrane have being used for releasing the laxative, diuretic, stomach pain, anti intestinal worm (antihelmintik), anti fungi and anti insect. The objective of this article is intended to verify the antihelmintik ability of mindi foliage extract. The experiment was conducted on the parasite worm Haemonchus contortus also known as red stomach worm, wire worm or Barber' pole worm, is very common parasite and one of the most pathogenic nematode of ruminants found in abomasum of goat and sheep. The result of this study shows that Mindi foliage extract is a significant potent antihelmintik. It is hoped that Mindi extract should be examined thoroughly in order to sdevelop to be one of the antihelmintik traditional poduct as the altenative of manufactured product.
