The article was based on a research which studied the effect of advanced organizer, conclusion, and combination of advanced organizer and conclusion in audio cassette programs of micro economic theory on the knowledge increase of open university students. The research was an experimental research using a 2 x 2 factorial design. Independent variable consist of two factors. The first variable is audio cassette programme with two treatments: with and without advanced organizer. The second variable is audio cassette programme with two treatments: with and without conclusion. Dependent variable is the increase of student knowledge obtained from the difference between post test and pre test. The research was conducted in Sukabumi with 64 students who are classified randomly into four treatment groups.
