This article presents the result of a case research (case study) or a qualitative research on learning volition. Learning volition is defined as the use of a will power to persist in a learning commitment, which is believed to be one of the aspects on converting one’s motivation and commitment into actual learning behavior. The research was designed to identify the element of learning volition by defined successful students. Eighteen successful students were interviewed in depth. The results show the dynamic of students volition which direct, energize, and lead them to take action upon their initial learning commitment.
