This study examins of AFTA free trade agreement (ATIGA), especially rules of Rules of Origin ("ROO") compared to other free trade agreement both bilaterally, regionally and multilaterally. This study compares the implementation of domestic legislation with international treaties in terms of substance, mechanism and implementation. This research is a normative legal research, where the research method refers to legal norms to understand the application of legal norms to the facts presented in this case to change the situation and offer a solution that has the potential to solve any concrete societal problems. This legal research is conducted by reviewing legal products so that it can be said as a study of law. Conflicts on implementation of the ATIGA rules of origin in the realm world can be divided into two distinct groups: First, conflicts resulting from administrative errors of the implementation of Form D procedures based on minor administrative errors; and Second, conflict occurs because of differences in understanding during the implementation of a rule. |
