Isi artikelThe purpose of present research is to examine wether gender stereotype is still relevant, especially in acceptance of information technology context. Gender stereotype hypotesis is belief that males and females are difference in information technology acceptance. Generally belief, males have higher level acceptance than females. Past researchs have various result that support or not to support this theory. Present research tries to examine the influence of gender differences on acceptance of information technology. The research findings show that a Gender difference is not significantly influence information technology acceptance. Moreover, the findings show that education level will significantly influence information technology acceptance. This finding supports the hypothesis of demolishing of gender stereotype.
