Work division is an important aspect in every organization. The division should be reflected in organizational structure. This research analyzes how work division and organizational structure in the Agency of Trade and Industry in Cianjur Regency influence management of market retribution under the regency’s jurisdiction. Specifically, this research examines how work division, departmentalization, span of control, and authority delegation simultaneously and partially influence market retribution performance. All staff in the Agency with high school diploma was included in the research. All respondents were given questionnaires and data gathered were analyzed using Path Analysis method. The results show significant relationship between work division, departmentalization, span of control, authority delegation management, and market retribution performance.
