In many aspects of life, specifically economy, globalization affects the existing infrastructure. Effects towards home economy, especially in Sumatra, are difficult to measure. However, there are some visible points, although sometimes evokes conflicts (because the interpretations are based on different purposes), such as land dispute, communication between center-regions, law definite, distribution, and so on. Infrastructures of economy are not obly, sads, ports, electricity, etc., but also human resources quality. Although Sumatra is located at the intemational trade lane, Sumatra will be left behind and will not be able to compete with other places if the infrastructures of economy and social (human resources) are not immediately spurred.
