Distance Education (DE) as we've known it is dead. That's a good thing-we should let it go and move on. When reviewing the evolution of distance education over the past 30 years, it's evident how much has changed, so quickly. Then again, when looking ahead, it is hard to envision that such rapid change and evoluton could continue, or even increase.
