This article is based on a research conducted in Banyumas residence. Since Banyumas regency became one of the pilot projects of local autonomy it experiences three times organization structure and work management’s changes. This changes was aimed at finding fit and appropriate organization structure and work management with in Banyumas regency government. The research was conducted to find out the efficiency and effectiveness of implementation organizational structure and work management of departement in Banyumas regency. This results show that efficiency and effectiveness level of organization structure and work management’s implementation on governance implementation in public sevices was in the medial level, but formalization dimension and complexity in high position.
