| This research into the sexual violence challenged two perceptions; that victims are killed and that the culture of Cambodia prevents victims from speaking about crimes. It attempted to show to the public the historical evidence of the gender crimes- and indeed quite a number of eyewitness and victims broke thirty year of silence for the first time. |
