Isi artikel
Degree-granting corporate-sponsored educational institutions are sprouting on the American landscape in response to the growing complexity of modern business. These institutions allow large corporations to instill in their students the latest technologies and management techniques, which traditional academic institutions cannot always offer in such up-to-date form. Nell P. Eurich is a seniro consultant to the Academy for Educational Development and a trustee of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. In addition to holding positions as a professor and administrator in both public and private higher educational institutions, Dr. Eurich has served on the U.S. Commission on Instructional Technology, the Carnegie Council on Policy Studies in Higher Education, and other national and international bodies. This article is excerpted from Dr. Eurich's recent book, Corporate Classrooms.
