Isi artikelTraditionally, plantation sub-sector has been one of the main contributors to Indonesian non-oil and gas exports, beside textiles and textile products, and lumber and fishery products. Plantation products that have become principal export commodities are rubber, palm oil, cocoa, tea, pepper, and tobacco. Other plantation export commodities include cashew fruit, spices, and aster oil. The export value of Indonesia's plantation commodities in 1997 was US$ 5,277.5 million, an increase of 12.6% compared with 1966's figure of US$4,855.4 million
