Have you ever wondered why it is the newest players in the marketplace who often create and capture most of the growth opportunities ? It would seem that existing companies, with all their experts and resources, would easily have the upper hand. Do the new entrants have superior knowledge ? Or do they have access to information tot he incumbents don't have ? Many of the entrepreneurs who head up successful new entries have come from the ranks of incumbent companies. Why did they have to leave their former employers in order to implement their ideas ?
