Multinational enterprises could find political security in international regulation, according to Professor Vernon, a leading authority on the relationships, often uneasy, that have existed in recent years bertween many national origins and the host countries in which they operate. Dr. Vernon is a professor of international business management at the Harvard Business School and director of the Center for International Affairs at Harvard University. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the author of several books including the widely read Sovereignity at Bay (1971).
