The findings are fairly interesting in which foreign-owned enterprises tend to be more prudent in their financing policies than local ones. Meanwhile, the performance of foreign-owned firms are predicted to be better than local firms. Accordingly, this paper considers that foreign-owned enterprises are less fragile than local firm due to the 1997 financial crisis.
