Isi artikelBy increasing support of international education programs, multinational corporations can make an important contribution to human rersources in the host countries in which they operate, while at the same time improving their status within the local community, says this well-known scholar-statesman. He describes three types of educational programs which would be meaningful to the lives of individuals and of particular value to the economically developing nations. J. William Fulbright was educated in this home state of Arkansas and as a Rhodes scholar in the early 1930s at Oxford University, England. For half of that time he was chairman of the powerful Foreign Relations Committtee. An early supporter of the United ations, Senatot Fulbright is equally well known worldwide for sponsoring the international scholarship program that bears his name.
