Isi artikel
Despite the "crisis" atmosphere that has gripped agricultural trade in recent years, there are reasons to believe that progress can be made toward the gradual and reciprocal dismantling of trade-distorting agricultural policies, to the benefit of many nations, according to the author. Fred H. Sanderson is a senior fellow with Resources for the Future, a Washington D.C., research organization, and a professorial lecturer at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. The author of a number of books and articles on food policy and agricultural trade, Dr. Sanderson is currently directing a joint international project on agricultural protectionism in the industrialized world. Thsi article was first published by Resources for the Future.
