Mr. Murano, educated as an economist at Tokyo University, began his banking career in 1932. He has had a wealth of experience with foreign business operations and is vice chairman of the Federation of Bankers' Associations of Japan. The severity of the economic difficulties to be overcome, he suggests, may make some yielding of national interesets necessary in order to strengthen international agencies sufficiently to get the job done.
