First, in relation with the 1993/1994 national budget deficit, which has for the first time been experienced since the New Order government. Second, in connection with the development of the Indonesian non-oil export, the enhancement of which tends to be slowing down. Nevertheless, other economic indicators are still seen to be quite good, such as the lowness of the inflation rate, if compared with the same period in the previous year, and the constant stability of the Rupiah conversion rate.
