According to Lewis, & Hill (1992), many teachers have the opinion that they have to improve their teaching techniques in order to be a good teacher. However, they argue that the indicator of the successful lesson is not on the teacher’s performance but on how the students gain knowledge of the lesson. They also believe that learning is more important than teaching. It means that to make students learn well is more much more important than to think about the best teaching techniques. Moreover, Lewis (2001) said that actually students do not get in mind what their teacher teach them. The statements above affirm that a great teacher does not guarantee in students’ learning successful. |
