The aim of this paper is to study the characteristics of the Landsat and Spot remote sensing system satelite imagery. the parameters analyzed are of the satellite imagery abilities of on instruments sucs as band spectral, spatial resolution, and scale detail. The result of the discussion shows that the spatial resolution of the landsat-7 can be utilized for mapping on macro and medium scale, whereas the Spot-4 and Spot-5 data can be utilized for mapping or medium and micro scale. This paper also discuss the map producton of "landuse spatial information mapping" onmedium scele 1:50.000.
