Jabon a fast growing species, its wood is often used for limited purposes, such as for packaging, simple toys, supporting cook equipment (spoon, fork) etc. Development of bonding strength technology may give opportunity to improve the use Jabon woods and the quality of its products. The objective of the research is to know the relationship between physical characteristic (specific gravity, water content, shrinkage) of Jabon wood and bonding strength, and between wettability and bonding strength.
