The research aimed to analyze the impact of price policies to the welfare of the rice farmers and to compare which are more effective between to increase price of rice and to reduce price of input by fertilizer subsidy to increase rice farmer's profits. The research was conducted in Anjir Muara District Barito Regency South Kalimantan Province by survey method. The sample farmer determined by stratified random sampling based on land size. By using the sampling method above, there were 45 sample large farms and 71 sample small farms.
