This research entitle concerning contribution of understanding of study process to readiness of teaching for student of D3 Education of Geografi Program of UNLAM Generation Geografi 2003 School Year 2006/2007. This research target is to know contribution of understanding of materials teach geografi and understanding of study process to readiness of teaching for student of D3 Education of Geografi Program of UNLAM Generation Geografi 2003 School Year 2006/2007. This research is research of ex-post-facto. Population in this research is student of D3 Study Program Education of Generation Geografi 2003 School Year 2006/2007 amounting to 21 people. Research technique the used is correlation of parsial and of double regresi. Analysis result indicate that there are contribution between understanding of materials teach geografi and understanding of study process to readiness of teaching student of D3 Education of Geografi Program of UNLAM Generation Geografi 2003 School Year 2006/2007. This result indicate that with domination of good items and supported with ecquirement of good value, hance readiness of to become teacher will good and expected able to improve the quality of education.
