Basically privatization of ownership and control of the State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) to the private. The problems encountered thereof are the rejection and differences in understanding the concept. Therefore, the government shall take necessary step by preparing national campaign program of privatization with the sound concept and well design. Privatization will benefit the SOEs, capital market, and macroeconomic. Initial public offering is the best strategy to be taken where previous privatization had shown the enlargement of market capitalization and other positive multiplier effects. However another thing should take into account such as rationalizing the number of SOEs and creating holding company. The holding company is aimed at enhancing corporate efficiency and optimality.
