Isi artikel
Paul is not really known as a feminist. Quotes such as, "the husband is the head of his wife" (1 Cor 11:3), "Women should be silent in the churches" (1 Cor 14:34), and "wives, be subject to your husbands" (Eph 5:22; Col 3:18 and Tit 2:5), are well-known to anyone who is familiar with the Christian tradition. Such quotes were and still are cited by those who want to legitimate androcentric, partriachal structures.
