As you will have understood, I will principally refer to the power of medical doctors because other health professionals (nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists etc.) have been for many years, and in many place still are, under the dominant and abusive power of medical doctors who knowingly or otherwise have prevented them from enjoying a professional profile of greater relevance than has hitherto been the case.
