| This paper aims to give a general observation on fisheries management in Indonesia with specific emphasis on coastal fisheries. This paper also discusses the state of environment of Indonesian fish and its supporting ecosystem, legal regime and institutional structure of fisheries management, compliance and enforcement issues, and the realisation of reform introduced by the new fisheries act. |
