The modern retailings are the most hypemarkets, supermarkets and minimarkets. The effect of this phenomenon causes many tradisional retailings to be dosed Based on this condition, the purpose of this study is to find out the preferences of the housewives purchasing behavior toward the modern retailings or the traditional retailings. This is a case study at Perumahan Jl. Mandala, Tomang, Jakarta Barat. The Wilcoxon test is used here to analyze the preferences.
