I am rather optimistic in this connection. I do not feel medicine has recently brought immense benefits. I do not consider the dangers to be as serious as we are generally told by the mass media. I think it is indispensable, most important, to always pay close attention to the dangers which threatment us involve not only genetic manipulations, recombinat DNA, but cultural manipulations.
