As the Pope recalls, "The goal of peace, so longed for by all, will sertainly be reached by achieving social and international justice, but also through the practice of the virtues which favor community life and teach us to live united and, united, giving and receiving, to build a new society and a better world" (Sollicitudo Rei Socialis, 39).
