Among these interventions, the one in which the ethical aspects takes on particular relevance is that of control by States. The interventions aim at a goal of a higly ethical nature: the defense of the consumer. In this address I shall try to analyze the various levels at which lofty and weighty responsibility of ensuring this defense is shared.
