It is in addition a malady that afflicts the industrialised countries, the rich countries of the world, with greater intensity, almost as though it was the revenge of the poor countries they frequently sufferer from. This is an opposition, however, that disappears in the face of an illness that is still often disabling and incurable, and which makes all people, both rich and poor, lose those certainties that they had up to that moment enjoyed.
