I was checking out the facilities of InterMedia at the University of Oslo, when Palmyre Pierroux, a colleague and collaborator, came walking up and greeted me, in Norwegian. This was not unusual given where we were, but in this case completely surreal, since Pierroux is American, with a California accent similar to my own.
