Okabe Tatsumi Ma Licheng's artricle titles "New Thinking on Relations with Japan" was published late in 2002, and Shi Yinhong's "SIno-Japanese Rapprochement and the 'Diplomatic Revolution'" appeared the following April, both in the Chinese journal Zhanlie yu Guanli [Strategy and Management], which has since ceased publication. You were the first specialist in Japanese studies to become involved in this sort of discourse on what is a highly sensitive matter in China, and your views were also published in the same journal. These discussions attracted a great deal of attention in Japan.
